Each area has its own purpose, but the real strength comes from connecting them.
Smart Kids Nursery represents the practical foundation of the ASKN ecosystem. Our settings provide early years education while also acting as environments in which we continually learn about the needs of children, families, practitioners and education leaders.
Our nurseries also provide an important environment for testing and refining new approaches before considering wider implementation.
Real children.Real practitioners.Real operational experience.
That experience keeps the wider ASKN ecosystem grounded in practice.
SEND is not a separate conversation within ASKN. It is part of how we think about education. Our experience has shown us that children develop differently and that effective education requires professionals to understand the individual child rather than relying solely on standardised approaches.
We want to contribute to better SEND provision through four connected areas:
Inclusive education within our settings.
Developing practitioners and SEND professionals.
Improving how information, evidence and progress are understood.
Exploring how responsible digital tools can reduce administrative workload and help professionals access relevant information more effectively.
Our ambition is to help create environments where inclusion is designed into education from the beginning.
Stanfords Training is ASKN's developing education, training and professional development platform. Our aim is to connect learning more closely with real workplace requirements, professional practice and industry needs.
We believe skills development should not end with gaining a qualification. Effective training should help people become more capable, confident and valuable within their profession.
Stanfords will increasingly work with employers and industry professionals to ensure learning remains connected to changing workforce requirements.
Our ambition is to develop a platform through which education, employment and professional development become more closely connected.
Nomass.AI is the technology and AI development arm of the ASKN ecosystem. It exists because we repeatedly encountered problems within education and training that existing systems did not fully solve.
Rather than adapting our organisations around technology, we decided to explore how technology could be designed around the way education organisations actually work.
We are developing a holistic nursery management platform designed to connect areas that are often managed through multiple systems, subscriptions, spreadsheets, paper documents and manual processes.
The objective is not simply digitisation. The objective is to reduce unnecessary administrative workload, improve access to information and give practitioners more time to work directly with children.
ASKN believes AI should assist professionals rather than replace professional responsibility. Where AI is used to support assessment, administration, SEND documentation, reporting or decision-making, appropriate professional oversight remains essential.
Our approach: AI assistance + professional judgement + responsible governance.
